We went up to glenwood springs last Wednesday thru Thursday to meet up with Brian it really is a great halfway meating point :-) while we were there we took the time to go to the hot springs, visit with Brian Mellissa and their kiddos , and go swimming at the pool, Matt had a lot of fun. To bad I didn't get pics, I misplaced my camera, if anyone finds it can you let me know? On the way back Matthews uncle Greg rode with us to stay for a week or so while doing some errands in town.
Here is my most recent project, I forgot to take a pic of the quilt finished and sewn together, but yesterday I finished the matching throw pillow covers and really love them, I hope caitlyn loves them too, she picked out and bought all the material so I could make this for her and Mikels new apartment. :-)
With as much crafty stuff I do in my free time should I just make a blog for that? Lol
8 months old and getting into everything! He is now crawling, pulling himself up on furnature, and opening as many cabinits and drawers he can find, he has so much energy that its not surprising to see him sleeping in his playpen or falling asleep before he can finish his lunch and dinner, slowly the baby profing is progressing but I have yet to find a baby gate that will fit in the stairway grrrrr
On Friday night we went to the Mammoth game, it was mascott night so they got all the big mascots from the state to come cheer and the Nuggets mascot Rocky jumped in the hot tub, it was pretty cool,
Then John Grant Jr got a sock trick, which is 6 goals by the same player in one game, it was so fun to see, and can officially take seeing a sock trick off my ever growing bucket list.
As fun as the game was we didn't win, but we did win on Sunday with our re-match against the philidelphia Wings, and the Mammoth have taken an official spot in the Playoffs. ! Yay

Ive been hanging on to all my baby food jars and this morning went looking for some fun with them, I might have to try some of these.
Its been a while since ive updated, christmas I think, so what have we been up to? Well... Alot and not much haha, steven and I (mostly steven) have been working hard to find a location to start a second branch of his dads buisness All American Coin and Jewelry. We have looked closely at a couple locations but havent signed any leases yet.
I dont remember what we did for new years so it couldnt have been that exciting. We had a fun time for the super bowl even though the broncos didn't play :( we had our hopes up a little there..
For valentines day steven bought us season tickets to the Colorado Mammoth with part of our tax refund :), For those of you who don't know, the Mammoth are an indoor lacross team, their games are way fun :) so every other week or so we go to those games with either Mikel who also has tickets, or we've brought a couple friends with us.
We've also gone ice fishing with my dad and brother a couple times, steven got to try his hand at ice fishing for the first time :) unfortunately we didn't have much luck, my brother only cought one fish , so I guess we will have to try harder next year, and have some fun this summer too, now that we are so close to chatfeild.
And I think stevens fam is already making plans for a house boat trip to lake powel, I've never been so it sounds fun, but I haven't decided how I will feel having a 1 yr old on a boat for a week....
Besides that we have been enjoying watching our little guy grow up, can you believe he is 7 months old now? He has been rolling over for a while now and is so close to crawling , I think I need to get crackin' on baby proofing EEEEK! He is a big eater too, with as much as he eats and how big hid chubby thighs are I thought he was going to be over weight. But surprisingly at his 6 month apt he weighed about 18 lbs which put him in the 60th % range and is 27 in long! Which puts him between 75th% and 80th% for height, that really surprised me. He is finikshed with all his shots until 12 mo yay!
A couple weeks ago matt said Mom and has been saying mama on and off since, it makes me happy, unfortunately mom wasn't his first word he did say daddy once but hasn't said it again, he also said hi once when I told him hello last week ish. Iits a bitter sweet, I can't wait foe him to talk and walk/crawl but I know I'm going to miss his cute babyness and am enjoying it as much as I can while I can :)
