Brigham City Temple (road trip )

So here are our few pics of the Temple, the center of our trip, It was fun and beautiful, I'm glad i got to finally see the inside of it. There were an awful lot of stairs for a prego though haha.

Road Trip!

So When I heard that there was going to be an open house at the newly built Brigham City Temple, I told Steven how awesome it would be to be able to go, as the temple is so important to my husbands LDS faith and its a very rare opportunity for A non member to go inside and see what goes on, around that Steven planned a nice road trip for us to go have fun and visit with family he hasn't seen in a long time, before our little Boy Jared is born, or im to fat to travel lol.
Our first Stop was his sister Rebecca's house where we got to visit with her and her husband Andrew and her awesome 4 kiddos :) thanks for putting us up Becky!
Our second stop was Temple Square in Salt Lake, I've never been to salt lake or seen temple square and the hubby thought it would be a fun day trip to see the beautiful buildings and learn a bit of the history. It was alot of fun, even for a non-mormon :) Matt was a little cranky, but he managed.

My best friends wedding ( well one of them)

We had the awesome opportunity to be invited to attend one of my best friends wedding this summer :) (I have more than one bf ) her wedding was amazing! And super special. especially for us because she was the friend responsible for introducing Steven and I, and stuck with me through all the drama before we were married aka Mormons and Catholics make an unpopular pair lol. through boot camp, after we were married, deployment, etc... (and yes I know we have alot of support from most of our friends but MRS Haley was there in person from the start of our relationship and still is :) I love you Haley ! congrats your hubby and sweet little girl are awesome too! I approve :p

Lake Powell

Finally remembered that i never made a lake Powell post,
as most of you know Lake Powell has become a Lewis family tradition with Uncle Scotts family, on a house boat. Steven and I finally got to go for the first time since we have been married and the first time for me ever. It was alot of fun and I can't wait till next year. Matt loved it too! he was a bit of a handful and I do apologize for him getting in the way quite alot on the boat, and asking people to watch him for us, we wanted to have our baby free fun too. haha.

Party! Birthday part 2

So after lots of fun in the sun, we went back to our place and Steven grilled up some Hamburgers and Hot dogs, and we played games, and then we had Cake!!! Matt definitely has a sweet tooth! I cant believe how big he is already!

Happy 1st Birthday Matthew!! part 1

For Matthews 1st Birthday we had a big party planned to go out to Chatfield resv and grill up some yummy food and party on the lake. But most of our friends and family couldn't make it so, some of Stevens family, and our friends Brad and Amanda and their siblings partied with us on the beach, and then we went back to our house for food with AC and games.
I think everyone had alot of fun, Matt wasn't sure about the water but he loved it when he was being held by daddy, and uncle Mikel taught him how to eat dirt out of a bowl with a spoon (he got a set of dishes from uncle Mikel and Caitlyn for his gift)
