quick reminder!

AS OF TODAY YOU HAVE 15 DAYS LEFT TO VOTE, BOY OR GIRL? LETS HEAR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY :)

Happy Planting!

For Christmas Steven got "tools" something along the lines of he wants to build stuff with tools because thats what men do, and he didn't have any tools. the original plan was that he was going to make drawers that fit under our bed because our dresser is really to small for 2 people. But the weather has been really nice out lately and he wanted to try his hand at having a green thumb, so aside from the puppy which was most of it, our state tax refund went to also buying supplies to build a planter that we can put in our back yard and see what we can grow. all in all it turned out great, all the materials including the wood and dirt and rocks and most of the seeds came out to only a little over $100 which is pretty good, considering planters pre built can get pretty pricey, It was my idea to get some lawn chairs so we can sit out there on nice days or nights too :) we planted a little of each, of Straberries, 1 plant of mint, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, basil, and parsley, yes that sounds like alot but we wanted variety and who knows how much of it will grow. hopefully alot! :)
as far as the materials went it took a bunch of wood :P
6 bags of drainage rocks, and about 20 ish bags of dirt, (potting soil, top soil, etc) We all had a pretty good day Sunday spending the time outside putting it all together, the dogs I think enjoyed being out and under foot too!

Its a Boy!

well, our new puppy is a boy anyway hehe, His name is Max thanks to my friend Haley who thought of the name, she has a knack at naming my pets so far, she also named my hamster Haley ;) anyway, we didn't plan on buying a puppy. We went to Lowes to get some wood for the planter Steven built me. There was a man in the parking lot selling puppies, I was very nice to Steven in the store and let him get whatever wood he wanted without complaint about costs :p which i think helped when i asked if we can stop to just look at them (see where i'm going with this?) the man was holding max he was the last puppy left to be sold, I asked what kind it was and how much, and to my surprise he was a Pekingese and not to expensive (but still enough to be alot) And my face lit up up and I subjected Steeve to that infamous look girls get when they want something really bad   you know that look, an innocent very cute smile with a little excitement in there, along with a little bounce and a "please please please.... !  I've always wanted one!" In all truth I have been looking for a smashed face dog for a while, instead we got Charlie (stevens dog). My sister had a Pekingese when I was littler and she was a really good dog :). Anyway my Steeve gave in and went to an ATM so we can get the puppy. And then Petsmart so we can get all that puppy stuff too. We got the smallest collar they had but its still to big so I guess we will have to wait another week to keep it on him all the time. Its pretty funny watching him trip over the tag though.
I suppose letting him chew on Stevens work boots is bad, but it was just so cute! his mouth was to small to bite them anyway
he got tired of tripping over it and just decided to carry his collar in his mouth :)
just like a little baby! haha
